The Association of Divorce Financial Planners (ADFP) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. QUALIFIED DOMESTIC RELATIONS ORDER - (QDRO) a court ruling stating that a portion of one spouse's pension be awarded to the other spouse as part of the equitable distribution of the marital assets.

QUIT CLAIM - to release legal claim. It is a document relinquishing claim, as in a quit claim to the dead to the marital house.
